As you already know, the fabrics that we supply through mills or makers will likely not be available forever. Depending on a certain collection or supplier, you might see fabrics being discontinued more or less quickly.

This being said, you may appreciate a tool that helps you to:

  • Get an overview of the fabrics you have that are discontinued so you are able to remove them from your booklets and be sure you don't show them to your customers anymore.
  • Know which ones of the fabrics you have in store are in backorder and indicate the restocking dates in your booklets.

Such a tool is actually available and you can access it this way:

  • From the platform's main page, click on the top-left three-bar menu.
  • Go under "Reports".
  • Hit "Backorder fabric".
  • You will be redirected to this page (see picture below), which will display all the fabrics that you have access to and that fell backordered/discontinued in the last 30 days.
  • The "Action Taken" button allows you to keep track of the fabrics you have already dealt with. For instance, you can click on it whenever a discontinued fabric has been removed from one of your books.
  • By using this report, you will substantially lower the risk of having a customer select a fabric that is backordered/discontinued.

Fortunately, a fair amount of fabrics is continuously carried and we have more and more access to our suppliers' stocks, with updates on a daily basis.
