When it comes to morning coats or evening tailcoats, you have to use the two fixed styles offered by the maker. For each fixed style, four options are available (see list below):
- Morning coat, fused (style #LB1EA5A-89NC)
- Morning coat, fused WITH functional buttonhole (style #LB1EA5A-89NZC)
- Morning coat, half canvas (style #LB1EA5A-89MC)
- Morning coat, half canvas WITH functional buttonhole (style #LB1EA5A-89MZC)
- Evening tailcoat, fused (style #LB1EA5A-89NY)
- Evening tailcoat, fused WITH functional buttonhole (style #LB1EA5A-89NZY)
- Evening tailcoat, half canvas (style #LB1EA5A-89MY)
- Evening tailcoat, half canvas WITH functional buttonhole (style #LB1EA5A-89MZY)
How to order a morning / evening coat:
1) Create a jacket with the desired fabric, pick buttons, lining and monogram.
4) If needed, you can add a contrasting fabric, but only on the lower lapel.
5) Hit the "Special request" button.
6) Measure the jacket as if it were a normal order (without the tail).
7) When this is done, make sure the bell button (in the cart) is ticked.
8) Put a request in the Remarks for the item, asking for:
- The fixed style number you want (from list above)
- The final back length you need for the coat (including the tail)
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER:
* Order must be placed as a 'Jacket'. Even if it is a suit, it needs to be ordered as a jacket + pants.
* This is a fixed style, meaning we cannot modify any designs and the jacket will be as described.
* CMT is $129 USD for the fused make.
* CMT is $187.50 USD for the half canvas make.
FIXED STYLES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING DESIGN DETAILS:
- Morning coat: lapel width at 8.9cm
- Evening tailcoat: 3 decorative buttons on sleeves; lapel width at 8.9cm
