From time to time, you may come across a client that wants to send his own personal fabric to the maker, or you might have access to fabrics that we don't provide.
In order to send your fabrics to the factory, you need to place the order first, using the fabric #SENDINGMYFABRIC in the builder, only for the places that you'll be using it on (main body, lapel contrast, lining, etc.).
Important note:
- Do NOT use #SENDINGMYFABRIC as main fabric, contrast, lining on the same item (it creates a bug on the maker's end)
- When planning to send a fabric specifically for lining or contrast, use the following #s:
#SENDINGMYLINING
#SENDINGMYCONTRAST
We'll generate an ASR #, which is the key information for matching the fabric with the order #.
When you have the ASR # :
- Fill out the fabric # AND the total the total amount (in meters) being shipped on the xlsx sheet attached.
- Print the sheet and include it in the fabric shipment.
- On the fabric itself, STICKER the RIGHTSIDE (FACE SIDE) of the fabric with:
- ASR#
- Fabric #
- Total meters shipped
NB: the fabric # you write is just a way for the maker to verify that the received fabric # matches the information in their system; you can just create your own # for this purpose if needed. The most important thing is to have the same info on the packing list AND sticker on the fabric itself.
Please also note that there will be a USD $20.00/per meter fee that will apply in case you send your fabrics.
