Arms

Modified on Sat, 25 Jul at 11:38 AM

The resting position of the arms. Most people carry the arms slightly forward. Arms that fall well forward or back create sleeve creases if not corrected. This is a single setting applied to both arms, and it cannot be set per side.

On a try-on

Forward arms make horizontal creases at the front of the sleeve. Backward arms make them at the back. Regular arms hang without creases or tension.

Without a try-on

From the side with arms relaxed, if the hand or elbow falls clearly in front of the side trouser seam the arms are forward, and if it falls in line with or behind the seam choose Regular or Backward.

Options

  • Backward 0.4, Backward 0.2
  • Regular
  • Forward 0.4

When in doubt

These are subtle adjustments, and it is hard to tell Regular from Forward 0.2 without a try-on, so default to Regular when there is no clear sign.
