This article will explain how to input measurements if you are set up to use try on garments. If you are not, you can write to help@mtm.design to get information on how to access and order try on garments.

When you are on a customer's measurement page (accessible from their Profile), you will see the all the available garments that can be measured with MTM.Design's platform. Start by entering the customer's height and weight into the very first field - this is mandatory! Entering this info will also populate your user profile in the right of "Pounds", showing who's responsible for the customer's first set of measurements.

After this, you will then proceed by selecting the garment that you need to input the measurements in for. We will use a Dress Shirt for this example.

There are a few key components to this screen:

  • The TRY ON tab must be selected in order to access the different fits from the drop down (38 Joe shown above).
  • When a size is selected, you can check the "View All" box on the right side to show the finished, used measurements - these generate in red boxes below the specific measurement area.
  • The numbers in black above the chest, waist, seat, etc., are the measurements associated with the try on garment selected (ex.: a 38 Joe has a finished chest measurement of 41.5").
  • Each measurement area can be increased or decreased in .25" increments by using the + and - symbols above and below the measurement. This will cause the Used Measurement line in red to change according to the adjustments made.
  • Most recent updates to a set of measurements are specifically noted in the bottom right-hand corner of a measurement tab with a timestamp.

When you are finished making adjustments to your measurements, you need to select "Try-on" from the drop down menu beside the garment type you're working on (in this case, Dress Shirt). This is MANDATORY and the whole tab will turn green in the background when it's been updated.

** If this option isn't selected, an error will appear as the red triangle on the cart screen for the affected item, causing the item to not be sent to production!

In regards to the Body Shape field at the top of the measurement page, none of these options are mandatory for production. Each selection, however, will have an effect on the finished garment. Please see the article regarding Body Shaping selections and info on each here

You may notice that, after a try on garment is entered, small white circles with white X's will appear beside a few of the posture options. When a white circle is rolled over, a dark gray box will appear, listing the corresponding posture setting to the try on garment that is selected.
